Willow Grange is surrounded by attractions which are firm favourites with our guests. For example the beautiful Dalby Forest with its 8000 acres of woodland to explore by car, cycle or on foot. If you prefer something more adrenaline-filled within the forest, try Go Ape for high-wire tree top adventures! Further adrenaline rushes can be found at Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo which has some of the biggest and most terrifying rollercoasters in Europe.

Other attractions which are popular with visitors of all ages include the North Yorkshire Moors traditional steam railway, travelling between Pickering and Whitby. Eden Camp is also close by which is a modern history museum dating from 1939 – 1945.

Many stately homes and gardens are within easy reach of Willow Grange, for example Castle Howard. This is recognised as Yorkshire's finest historic house and estate and was voted 'one of the World's top 10 Greatest Mansions' by Lonely Planet's Ultimate Sights. After this, you can be transported back in time at Ryedale Folk Museum. Alternatively, visit the City of York with its numerous sights and attractions - not to mention the shopping ladies! York is about 30 to 40 minutes by car or is a lovely ride by train from Malton.

There are many beaches nearby including Whitby, Scarborough, Hunmanby gap, Bridlington and Filey. All of these seaside towns have an array of things to see and do. The North Yorkshire Moors are also a very short drive away as are the stunning Yorkshire Wolds.
